Magnetic traverse with telescopic electropermanent magnetic beam type HM2
Telescopic crane traverse with electro-permanent magnets type HM2 is designed for lifting and transporting single sheets with a minimum thickness of 5 mm. In standard versions, the traverses are manufactured for plate lengths up to 16,000 mm. In addition to the standardised solutions, traverses designed according to individual customer needs are available.
The innovative solution combines the advantages of a telescopic crane traverse and electro permanent magnets, providing greater safety and efficiency in the lifting process, ensuring reliable performance and higher productivity.
When transporting large sheets using standard tie-downs such as handling hooks or handling clamps, sheet metal often deflects or deforms. Magnetic traverses allow the sheet to be gripped evenly over a larger area, eliminating sheet deflection.

- Depending on the dimensions of the steel plate, the appropriate number of magnetic modules can be selected using a four-position switch.
- The PICK-UP cycle allows safe lifting of ONE plate.
- Depending on the thickness of the sheet metal, the corresponding magnetic field depth in the PICK-UP regime can be selected using a four-position switch.
- Load release detection system to prevent accidental demagnetization during transport.
