Magnetic traverse with electropermanent magnetic beam for thin steel sheets type HM3
Magnetic trapeze with electro permanent magnetic beam type HM3 is designed for lifting and transporting single sheets with minimum thickness of 3 mm. In standard versions, the traverse is manufactured for sheet metal up to 16,000 mm in length. In addition to the standardised solutions, traverses designed according to individual customer needs are available.
The innovative solution of these magnetic traverses is that they consist of several electro permanent magnetic modules that are flexibly suspended, allowing a perfect adaptation to the steel plate.
When transporting large plates using standard tie-downs such as handling hooks or handling clamps, the plates are often deflected or deformed. Magnetic traverses allow the sheet metal to be gripped evenly over a larger area, eliminating sheet metal deflection.
