Gripping tongs with lever for loads with rectangular cross section
The tongs are designed for handling loads with rectangular cross-section, such as steel profiles, concrete blocks, granite blocks, stone blocks, prisms, billets, curbs and other similar types of loads.
The tongs are designed to transport loads in a horizontal or vertical position. The tongs are locked in the open position by a lever.
At the beginning of the operation, the operator must rest the tongs on the load, release the upper hinge and unlock the lever. When placing the load, the lever locks itself and the tongs remain in the open position, ready for further manipulation.
The gripping jaws of the tongs are adapted to the type of load being handled. The jaws can be covered with rubber or secutex to protect the load from damage.
The surface of transported loads must be clean, dry and free of grease.
