Inner gripping tongs for handling wire coils
The tongs are designed to handle wire coils in vertical position. The tongs grip the load beyond the inner diameter.
They are produced in several designs, differing in the number of tongs arms (two-arm, three-arm, four-arm).
The tongs can be equipped with different types of jaws - tips, jaw jaws or flat jaws with plastic protection.
The tongs are equipped with an automatic, ie a mechanism that enables unmanned operation of the tongs.
The automatic is produced in several versions, differing in construction.
The duty cycle looks like this:
The tongs approach the load in the clamped position with automatic locking. When the tongs are lowered, the tongs rest against the load with their seating part. Upon further lowering the upper hinge of the tongs is released, and also automatic is released.
During the subsequent lifting, the arms of the tongs open and grip the load. After the load has been moved to its destination, the tongs rest against the load with their seating part. Upon further lowering the upper hinge of the tongs is released, the automatic system locks.
The tongs remain in the clamped position ready for further handling.
