Vacuum lifters are devices that use a vacuum to handle a load. Vacuum lifters can be used to handle loads with "airtight" materials. In practice, they are mainly used for handling loads, such as sheets, glass sheets, wooden boards, concrete or stone products, paper boxes, plastic boards or products.

 

With the help of vacuum manipulators it is possible not only to transfer the given loads, but also to turn or tilt them.

 

We divide vacuum manipulators into several basic types according to the method of creating vacuum.

 

Self-suction vacuum lifters  work without power supply. The vacuum manipulator is equipped with a cylinder with a piston. When lifting the piston, a vacuum is created and a load is sucked in.

 

Electric vacuum lifters are equipped with an electric vacuum pump. The manipulators can be powered either from the mains (400 V) or they can be equipped with a battery.

 

Pneumatic vacuum lifters are equipped with a pneumatic vacuum pump. For this reason, it is necessary to provide a compressed air supply for the manipulator.

 

Vacuum manipulators can be equipped with round, square or rectangular suction cups. The shape, size and number of suction cups are chosen according to the weight and dimensions of the loads. With the help of mechanical valves, it is possible to close and open the supply to the individual suction cups and thus choose which suction cups are active during handling.
